you should never chase someone else's approval

The company awards an employee who has performed well, by asking him to wear a different colored dressing compared to other employees. The problem is other employees who worked with that distinguished employee in the team project, feels unfair of this ill-treatment.

The company's main perception was to give out a different color dressed to one random employee, with hopes to motivate other employee performance. They feel that "Any change in work environment increases work productivity".

There is an implication if employees do not understand what is the true meaning of the company is doing. They will misunderstand these actions as being too control oriented, inefficiency, punishment or even sinking a dead fish!
